FY 2022 The Community Forest and Open Space Conservation Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to establish community forests by protecting forest land which has been identified as a national, regional, or local priority from conversion to non-forest uses. Supported projects should provide community benefits, including sustainable forest management, environmental benefits, benefits from forest-based educational programs, benefits from serving as models of effective forest stewardship, and recreational benefits secured with public access. FY 2022 Museums Empowered: Professional Development Opportunities for Museum Staff

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program supports projects that use the transformative power of professional development and training to generate systemic change within museums of all types and sizes. Projects are expected to involve multiple levels of staff, leadership, and volunteers in a set of logical, interrelated activities tied directly to addressing a key need or challenge; reflect a thorough understanding of current practice and knowledge about professional development; and generate measurable results.
