Position Information:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing our HR functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to negotiate effectively. The Human Resources Manager will oversee talent acquisition, employee evaluation processes, and workers’ compensation management while supporting the overall strategic goals of the district.
Duties Ensure:
- Effective implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Manage the full hiring lifecycle, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Conduct employee evaluations and provide guidance on performance management processes.
- Administer workers’ compensation claims and maintain records in accordance with legal requirements.
- Facilitate research data collection to inform HR strategies and improve organizational effectiveness.
- Negotiate employment offers and manage employee relations issues effectively.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop workforce planning strategies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an HR management role with a strong understanding of HR best practices.
- Strong skills in negotiating, supervising teams, and managing talent acquisition processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to payroll, workers’ compensation, and employee rights.
- Ability to analyze data for informed decision-making in HR functions.
