Notice of Proposed Rulemaking
The Oregon Secretary of State Archives Division has issued an official notice of proposed rulemaking detailing updates to administrative rules related to electronic recordkeeping. The proposed changes include updates to definitions (166-017-0010), new electronic recordkeeping requirements (166-017-0045), and the repeal of outdated rule 166-017-0025.
A virtual public hearing will be held on November 25, 2025, at 10:00 AM PST, and interested parties can register online.
Written comments are also accepted via email until December 3, 2025, at 1:00 PM PST.
