WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to repair essential community facilities damaged by presidentially declared disasters in calendar year 2022. Projects must be located in rural areas, except for utility-type services such as telecommunications or hydroelectric that serve both rural and non-rural areas; financially feasible; for public use; necessary for orderly community development; and consistent with the state strategic plan. Click here for more information.

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to provide financial and technical assistance to help local communities relieve imminent threats to life and property caused by floods, fires, windstorms, and other natural occurrences that impair a watershed. Click here for more information.

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support the construction, maintenance, improvement, and expansion of telephone service and broadband in rural areas. WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program supports the provision of clean and reliable drinking water systems, sanitary sewage disposal, sanitary solid waste disposal, and stormwater drainage for households and businesses in eligible rural areas. FY 2023 Surplus Property and Military Base Conversions for Airport Purposes

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to transfer surplus real and personal property to eligible airport sponsors for public airport purposes. Property transferred through this program may include military bases that are closed under the Base Realignment and Closure Act (BRAC), and non-aeronautical use property that generates revenue for airport operations, maintenance, and development.  Click here for more information.

Department of Veterans Affairs

FY 2023 Veterans Cemetery Grants Program (VCGP) 

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to establish, expand, and improve veterans' cemeteries that are owned and operated by states, territories, and tribal governments in areas where the Department of Veterans Affairs' national cemeteries cannot fully satisfy veterans' burial needs. Cemeteries must be operated solely for the interment of service members who die on active duty, veterans, and their spouses and eligible children. Cemeteries must have a 20-year life span, at minimum, and should consider a 50- year life span; however, this program develops in 10-year increments.  Click here for more information.
