FY 2024 Cooperative Endangered Species Conservation Fund (CESCF): Recovery Land Acquisition (RLA) Grant Program  

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to promote the conservation and recovery of species listed as endangered or threatened under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) by providing funding to eligible state and territorial agencies to support the development and implementation of conservation projects for the benefit of resident listed species. WHO'S ELIGIBLE? States and territories that have entered into a cooperative agreement pursuant to Section 6(c) of the ESA and have provided the information necessary for the annual renewal of their cooperative agreement

Department of Transportation

FY 2024 Fueling Aviation’s Sustainable Transition (FAST) Grant Program  

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support the build out of infrastructure projects related to: (1) sustainable aviation fuel (FAST-SAF) production, transportation, blending, and storage, and (2) low emission aviation technologies (FAST-TEC) to develop and demonstrate new aviation technologies to improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE?  State and local governments, air carriers, airport sponsors, of higher education institutions; research institutions , entities engaged in the production, transportation, blending, or storage of sustainable aviation fuel in the United States or feedstocks in the United States that could be used to produce sustainable aviation fuel, entities engaged in the development, demonstration, or application of low-emission aviation technologies, nonprofit entities, and a nonprofit consortia with experience in sustainable aviation fuels, low-emission aviation technologies, or other clean transportation research programs.

FY 2024 Brownfields Assessment Grants – Coalition Grants   

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program provides funding for developing inventories of brownfield sites, prioritizing sites, conducting community involvement activities, conducting planning, conducting site assessments, developing site specific cleanup plans, and developing reuse plans related to brownfield sites. WHO'S ELIGIBLE? State and local governments, regional planning councils, federally recognized Indian Tribes, and Alaska Native Regional Corporations. Additionally, land clearance authorities, redevelopment agencies, and nonprofit organizations are eligible as a nonlead applicant. 

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $40 million

FY 2024 Brownfield Community-wide Assessment Grants 

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to provide funding for developing inventories of brownfield sites, prioritizing sites, conducting community involvement activities, conducting planning, conducting site assessments, developing site-specific cleanup plans, and developing reuse plans related to brownfield sites. WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Local governments, land clearance authorities, government entities created by a state legislature, regional councils or groups of general purpose units of local government, redevelopment agencies, states, Indian Tribes, Alaska Native Regional Corporation, Alaska Native Village Corporation, and Metlakatla Indian Community, nonprofit organizations, limited liability corporations, and qualified community development entities.

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $30 million

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program provides funding for eligible entities to carry out cleanup activities at brownfield sites owned by the applicant. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Local governments, land clearance authorities or another quasi-governmental entity that operates under the supervision and control of, or as an agent of, a general purpose unit of local government, government entities created by a state legislature, regional councils or groups of general purpose units of local government, redevelopment agencies, states, Indian Tribes other than those located in Alaska, Alaska Native Regional Corporation, Alaska Native Village Corporation, and Metlakatla Indian Community, nonprofit organizations, limited liability corporations in which all members are nonprofits, and qualified community development entities.

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $95 million

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program provides funding to carry out a range of eligible assessment and cleanup activities, including planning and additional community engagement activities. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Local governments, land clearance authorities or another quasi-governmental entity that operates under the supervision and control of, or as an agent of, a general purpose unit of local government, government entities created by a state legislature, regional councils or groups of general purpose units of local government, redevelopment agencies, states, Indian Tribes other than those located in Alaska, Alaska Native Regional Corporation, Alaska Native Village Corporation, and Metlakatla Indian Community, nonprofit organizations, limited liability corporations, and limited partnerships in which all partners are nonprofits, and qualified community development entities. 

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $20 million

FY 2023 Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA) Program   

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to accelerate investment in the nation's water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure by providing long-term, low-cost, supplemental credit assistance under customized terms to creditworthy water infrastructure projects of national and regional significance. WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Local, state, tribal, and federal government entities, partnerships and joint ventures, corporations and trusts, and clean water and drinking water state revolving fund (SRF) programs.

FY 2023-2024 Wetland Program Development Grants (WPDGs) Region 10   

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to increase the quantity and quality of wetlands in the U.S. by conserving and restoring wetland acreage and improving wetland condition. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? States, territories, tribes, local government agencies, colleges and universities that are agencies of a state, interstate agencies, and intertribal consortia.
