For the fiscal year 2025 appropriations cycle, the U.S. Senate Committee on Appropriations will again accept requests from senators on their funding priorities. These CIP requests - also known as Congressionally Directed Spending or Community Project Funding - can promote economic development, education, healthcare initiatives, and other worthy investments in communities nationwide.
State and local governments (including special districts), Tribes, and 501(c)(3) organizations are the only eligible entities for CIP requests.
The deadline for submission of requests to Senator Wyden and Senator Merkley is Sunday, February 25, 2025.
Please click on this link for instructions about the types of projects that qualify and how to submit your request.
