On Friday, October 18, Lou Desmond will guide LOC Conference attendees through a one-day intensive program designed to provide first responders with deeper knowledge and skills for interacting with and responding to the media on-camera.
In this course, city officials will learn practical skills for speaking with journalists in any kind of media scenario and practice skills learned through a realistic on-camera interview role play. Seminar topics will include: preparation, confidence, dynamics, body language and difficult questions.
Come prepared for a highly interactive training, and leave equipped with tools for effectively engaging with the media to communicate information from your city.
The cost of the seminar is $150.
