FY 2022 National Cohesive Wildland Fire Management Strategy: Cross-Boundary Wildfire Hazard Mitigation on Nonfederal Lands
WHAT DOES IT FUND?
The purpose of this program is to reduce hazardous fuel conditions on nonfederal land and benefit nearby National Forest System lands. Awards will support projects which protect communities that are at the highest risk from damaging wildfires, and protect critical resources and economic values by maintaining landscapes to accommodate fire. Click here for more information.
WHO'S ELIGIBLE? National Forests applying on behalf of adjacent nonfederal landowners, state forestry agencies, Tribes, local governments, nonprofit organizations, and private landowners and associations. Applicants must be located in the USDA Forest Service Eastern Region

This program aims to reduce wildfire risk and/or improve wildfire preparedness and wildfire response. Awards will support projects which restore and maintain landscapes, and promote fire adaptation in communities. Click here for more information.

FY 2022 Great Lakes Fish Habitat Restoration Partnership Grants 
WHAT DOES IT FUND?
This program supports habitat restoration projects that meet the funding agency's mission to restore coastal habitats and support the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative. This program prioritizes habitat restoration projects that aim to restore functional coastal wetland, nearshore, and/or riverine habitats that support native fish migration, reproduction, growth, and/or seasonal refuge. Click here for more information.
WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Institutions of higher education, nonprofit organizations, commercial/for-profit organizations, U.S. territories, states, local governments, and Native American tribal governments. All projects must be located within the Great Lakes Basin within one of the eight U.S. Great Lakes states of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin
