How One EMS Agency Secured a $2.4M SS4A Grant

In late 2023, Town of Colonie Emergency Medical Services partnered with neighboring agencies to secure a $2.4 million SS4A Demonstration Grant. Their project aims to prevent crashes in their service area while enhancing post-crash care through innovative technology. The grant funds several key innovations, including driver warning systems for approaching emergency vehicles and technology to protect vulnerable road users.
