FY 2024 Rural Innovation Stronger Economy (RISE) Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program supports job accelerator partnerships that improve the ability of distressed rural and energy communities to create high-wage jobs, accelerate the formation of new businesses, and help rural communities identify and maximize local assets. WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Rural jobs accelerator partnerships formed on or after December 20, 2018, that consist of state, local and tribal government entities, institutions of higher education, and nonprofits

FY 2023 Electric Drive Vehicle Battery Recycling and Second Life Applications

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program reduces the costs associated with transportation, dismantling, and preprocessing of end-of life electric drive vehicle batteries for recycling, as well as recycling of plastic and polymer electric drive vehicle battery accessory components through research, development, and demonstration projects. FY 2024 American Battlefield Protection Program (ABPP): Preservation Planning Grants 

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program will support a variety of projects that contribute to the preservation and interpretation of historic battlefields and associated sites of armed conflict on American soil. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? State, county, city, township and special district governments, independent school districts, public and state-controlled institutions of higher education, Native American tribal organizations, Federally recognized tribal governments, nonprofits with or without a 501(c)(3) status, and private institutions of higher education.

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $1,198,000

FY 2023 Historic Preservation Fund: Semiquincentennial Grants 

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program will support the physical preservation of a broad variety of cultural resources associated with the founding of America as a nation in commemoration of the country's semiquincentennial, or 250th anniversary of founding. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? State governments, county, city, and township governments, public, state-controlled, and private institutions of higher education, federally recognized Native American tribal governments, Alaskan Natives, and Native Hawaiian organizations, Native American tribal organizations, and nonprofit organizations with or without 501(c)(3) status

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $10 million

FY 2024 Port Infrastructure Development Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program provides funding to projects that will improve the safety, efficiency, or reliability of the movement of goods through ports and intermodal connections to ports. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? States or political subdivisions of states or local governments, Indian tribes or consortia of tribes, public agencies or publicly chartered authorities established by one or more states, special-purpose districts with a transportation function, and multistate or multijurisdictional groups of entities.
