FY 2024 Food Safety Outreach Competitive Grants Program 

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program helps develop and implement food safety training, education, extension, outreach, and technical assistance projects that address the needs of owners and operators of small to mid-sized farms, beginning farmers, socially disadvantaged farmers, small processors, veteran farmers and ranchers, and/or small fresh fruit and vegetable merchant wholesalers. WHO'S ELIGIBLE? State, local or tribal agencies, institutions of higher education, foundations maintained by institutions of higher education, cooperative extension services for U.S. states or territories, and nongovernmental organizations and/or community-based organizations representing owners and operators of farms, small food processors, or small fruit and vegetable merchant wholesalers.

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program aims to improve the response of the civil and criminal justice system to families with a history of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking, or in cases involving allegations of child sexual abuse. Click here for more information.
