FY 2023 Community Facilities Technical Assistance and Training (TAT) Grant - Disaster Relief Supplemental Appropriations  

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program provides technical assistance and training in support of essential community facilities programs. In turn, this technical assistance and training helps grantees identify and plan for community facility repairs as a result of damages resulting from presidentially declared disasters in calendar year 2022. FY 2023 Innovative Designs for High-performance Low-cost HVDC Converters (IDEAL HVDC)   

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program will fund research and development (R&D) activities that support the government-wide approach to the climate crisis by driving the innovation that can lead to the deployment of clean energy technologies, which are critical for climate protection. Specifically, this FOA will invest in R&D to support continued innovation and cost reduction for high-voltage direct current (HVDC) voltage-source converter (VSC) transmission systems. WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program provides financial and technical assistance to local water agencies for the planning, design, and construction of water reclamation and reuse projects. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? State, regional, or local authorities, Indian tribes or tribal organizations, and other entities such as water conservation or conservancy districts, wastewater districts, or rural water districts who are authorized sponsors of one of the 53 Title XVI Projects authorized by the Title XVI Act

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program aims to stretch limited water supplies in the western United States and avoid conflicts over water by providing financial and technical assistance for the planning, design, and construction of water reclamation and reuse projects. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? State, regional, or local authorities, including states; Indian tribes; municipalities; irrigation districts; water districts; wastewater districts; and other organizations with water or power delivery authorities

FY 2023 WaterSMART Grants: Desalination Construction Projects Under the WIIN Act  

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program supports the planning, design, and construction of desalination projects that will develop and supplement municipal and irrigation water supplies through the treatment of ocean or brackish water, thereby providing a local supply, providing flexibility during water shortages, and diversifying the water supply portfolio. WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Sponsors of seawater and brackish water desalination projects located in the Western United States including states, Indian tribes, municipalities, irrigation districts, water districts, and wastewater districts State, regional, or other organizations with water or power delivery authority, that have submitted a feasibility study to Reclamation for review

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $52 million

FY 2023-FY 2026 Bridge Investment Program (Part C): Large Bridge Projects

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to provide funding to improve the safety, efficiency, and reliability of the movement of people and freight over bridges. The Large Bridge Project (Part C) category provides funding for bridge replacement, rehabilitation, preservation, and protection projects with total eligible costs greater than $100 million. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? States or groups of states, metropolitan planning organizations that serve an urbanized area (as designated by the Bureau of the Census) with a population over 200,000, local governments or groups of local governments, political subdivisions of states or local governments, special purpose districts or public authorities with transportation functions, federal land management agencies, tribal governments or consortium of tribal governments, and multistate or multijurisdictional groups of entities as described above

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $9.62 billion

FY 2023 Clean School Bus Rebates Program    

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program will subsidize the replacement of existing school buses with cleaner buses that result in better air quality on the bus, in bus loading areas, and throughout the communities in which they operate. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Public school districts, local and state governmental entities; public charter school districts; tribal entities including, Indian tribes, tribal organizations, and tribally controlled schools; nonprofit school transportation associations; and or-profit and nonprofit contractors, which generally include school bus dealers, original equipment manufacturers, school bus service providers, and private school bus fleets that provide student transportation services 

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $500 million

WHEN'S IT DUE? January 31, 2024

FY 2023 Wetland Program Development Grants (WPDG) Region 3   

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to increase the quantity of wetlands in the United States by conserving and restoring wetland acreage and improving wetland conditions. Eligible applicants include states, territories, federally recognized tribes, non-WPP, local governments, interstate agencies, intertribal consortia, colleges and universities that are agencies of the state.  Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Limited to projects that will be performed within the funding agency's Region 3, which consists of Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia
