Invitation to Attend Training on Purchasing (Procurement) Under FEMA Mitigation Grant Awards
Over the coming weeks and months, FEMA is offering a series of one-hour trainings on the federal procurement rules applicable to recipients and subrecipients when purchasing in support of FEMA mitigation grant awards. Procurement under federal grants is very important and required as a term and condition of the grant award. These trainings, titled “Procurement Under FEMA Awards Training – Mitigation Grants,” will run from December 14, 2022 through October 19, 2023. The Grant Program Directorate Procurement Disaster Assistance Team will facilitate the series and cover a variety of procurement under grant concepts, frequent compliance issues and examples. They will highlight diverse user-friendly resources.
The series of trainings is offered to FEMA award recipients and subrecipients, including state, local, tribal, and territorial government personnel; nonprofit organization staff; eligible private entities; and other non-federal entities.
