Job Summary
Working independently and collaboratively with others, this position plays an integral role in executing CRPUD’s mission, philosophy, and commitment to providing safe, reliable power to our community and exceptional service to our internal and external customers. All employees are also expected to maintain a high level of trust, integrity, and ethical standards.
Provide responsive technical systems support and in-house technical analysis, consultation, and training to CRPUD employees for the efficient use of their office computers and the CRPUD network. Provide day-to-day support for end-user applications. Ensure reliability of high functioning hardware equipment and software resources for physical, virtual, and mobile device environments.

Education and Experience
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Three years’ experience in a Help Desk, Systems Support, or similar position in a complex multi-vendor technical environment.
- Demonstrated experience with TCP/IP and routing protocols, as well as knowledge of LAN/WAN hardware and related technologies.
- Demonstrated competence working with PC hardware, PC peripherals, mobile devices, Office 365, and Windows-based applications while maintaining physical, virtual, and mobile device environments for end-users.
- Valid driver’s license. Other driving-related requirements may apply depending on the nature and scope of responsibilities associated with driving on behalf of CRPUD.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Two-year technical degree in Computer Science or its equivalent, plus three years’ on-the-job experience in a Help Desk, Systems Support, or equivalent position.
Salary Range
Systems Support Specialist I: $31.97 - $45.60
Systems Support Specialist II: $33.88 - $48.32
