Announcement of Elections for 2026 Board Seats
Dear FDSOA Members,
On behalf of the Fire Department Safety Officers Association, it is my privilege to announce the results of our recent board elections. Thank you to all who participated—your engagement and dedication ensure that our organization continues to grow, evolve, and advance the mission of firefighter health and safety.
I am pleased to share that Trevor Shea has been elected as our new Vice Chairman. Trevor has been a committed contributor to the association, and we look forward to the leadership and vision he will bring to this role.
We also welcome Jim Barnhart as our new Western Director. His experience and passion for supporting safety officers across the western region will be invaluable as we continue expanding our programs and outreach.
Additionally, Chris Fusaro will be stepping into the role of Eastern Director. His longstanding involvement and strong regional connections position him well to support our members and initiatives in the East.
The new terms for all the new positions will begin in January 2026.
I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to our outgoing board members. Their service, professionalism, and dedication during their terms have significantly strengthened the FDSOA and helped guide its continued success. We are grateful for their contributions and commitment to our mission.
