FY 2023 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL): Address Key Deployment Challenges for Offshore, Land-Based, and Distributed Wind   
WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program will enable the innovations needed to advance U.S. wind systems, reduce the cost of electricity, and accelerate the deployment of wind power, maximize the benefits of the clean energy transition as the nation works to curb the climate crisis, empower workers, and advance environmental justice. WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program will support the Department of Energy to increase its outreach to small businesses, universities, and other non-traditional partners in pursuit of clean energy, national security, energy security, and climate goals through partnership intermediaries (PIs). WHO'S ELIGIBLE? States and local governments, nonprofits owned in whole or in part by, chartered by, funded in whole or in part by, or operated in whole or in part by or on behalf of a state or local government, that assists, counsels, advises, evaluates, or otherwise cooperates with small business firms, institutions of higher education.
