FY 2023 Local Meat Capacity Grant Program 

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to build resilience in the meat and poultry supply chain by increasing processing capacity and promoting more competition in the sector. This program is targeted to support meat and poultry processors with smaller-scale projects, with a goal to increase processing availability and variety for local livestock producers. Click here for more information.

FY 2023 Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Employment and Training (E&T) Data and Technical Assistance (DATA) Grants 

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support the development of state SNAP E&T data collection systems and processes, as well as to enhance states' abilities to critically review and analyze program services and outcomes for continuous program improvement. Click here for more information.

Department of Health and Human Services

FY 2023 Building Capacity for Chronic Disease Education and Awareness

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to strengthen the science base for prevention, education, and public health awareness for chronic diseases that do not currently have dedicated resources that would lead to meaningful patient outcomes. Funding will support projects that will focus on education, outreach, and public awareness activities for chronic diseases for which there is a clear disparity in public and professional awareness and that are not currently funded through a CDC appropriations line under the FY 2023 Appropriations Act. Click here for more information.

FY 2023 Community-Based Approaches to Reducing Sexually Transmitted Diseases (CARS)  

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to implement community engagement methods to achieve health equity via the identification and implementation of structural systems and environmental strategies promoting personal health. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? State and local governments and territories; political subdivisions of a state, such as counties, cities, and towns, and federally recognized American Indian/Alaska Native tribes and tribal organizations, public housing authorities, nonprofits organizations, and for profit organizations.

FY 2023 Cooperating Technical Partners (CTP) Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program aims to strengthen and enhance the effectiveness of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) by fostering strong federal, state, tribal, territorial, regional, and local partnerships to identify flood risks, reduce flood losses, and promote community resilience. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? State and local governments, federally recognized Native American tribal governments, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, other than institutions of higher education, institutions of higher education, public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities, special district governments, and territories including the District of Columbia.

FY 2023 Lead Hazard Reduction Capacity Building (LHRCB) Grant Program 

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of the program is to assist states, tribes, and local governments in the development of the infrastructure necessary to undertake comprehensive programs to identify and control lead-based paint hazards in eligible, privately owned rental or owner-occupied housing. Click here for more information.

FY 2023 Patrick Leahy Bulletproof Vest Partnership (BVP) Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program reimburses states, units of local government, and federally recognized Indian tribes, for up to 50 percent of the cost of body armor vests purchased for law enforcement officers. Click here for more information.

Department of Transportation

FY 2023 Regional Infrastructure Accelerators Demonstration Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program assists entities in developing improved infrastructure priorities and financing strategies for the accelerated development of projects that are eligible for funding under the funding agency's Transportation Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (TIFIA) Program. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? States, multi-state or multi-jurisdictional groups, municipalities, counties, special purpose districts or public authority with a transportation function including a port authority, tribal governments, metropolitan planning organizations, and regional transportation planning organizations, Regional Transportation Commission, or a political subdivision of a state or local government, or combination of two or more of the foregoing.
