WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to provide funding for projects designed to further the development of transformational technologies that capture carbon emissions from existing coal or natural gas electric generation facilities and existing industrial facilities not purposed for electric generation. Click here for more information.

FY 2023 Project AWARE (Advancing Wellness and Resiliency in Education)

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program develops a sustainable infrastructure for school-based mental health programs and services. Award recipients will leverage their partnerships to implement mental health-related promotion, awareness, prevention, intervention, and resilience activities to ensure that school-aged youth have access and are connected to appropriate and effective behavioral health services. WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to assist state, local, tribal, and territorial emergency management agencies with implementing the National Preparedness System (NPS) and to support the National Preparedness Goal of a secure and resilient nation. Click here for more information.

FY 2023 Port Security Grant Program (PSGP)

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support increased portwide risk management and protect critical surface transportation infrastructure from acts of terrorism, major disasters, and other emergencies. Funding will support port authorities; facility operators; and state, local, and territory agencies for activities associated with implementing area maritime security plans (AMSP), facility security plans (FSPs), vessel security plans (VSPs), and other portwide risk management efforts. FY 2023 Transit Security Grant Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program protects the critical surface transportation infrastructure and the traveling public from acts of terrorism and to increase transportation infrastructure resilience. In assessing the national risk profile for FY 2023, the funding agency has identified enhancing cybersecurity and enhancing the protection of soft targets/crowded places as areas of highest concern. WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Governmental agencies with eligible rail, intracity bus, and ferry systems. Eligible transit agencies are determined based on daily unlinked passenger trips and transit systems that serve historically eligible Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) jurisdictions

FY 2023 Competitive DNA Capacity Enhancement for Backlog Reduction (CEBR) Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to close and repurpose youth detention and correctional facilities, reinvest cost savings to expand community-based alternatives to youth incarceration, and assess and respond to the economic impact of closures on facility staff and surrounding communities. WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is for the design and management of a new Environmental Justice (EJ) competitive pass-through program where the funding agency will competitively select multiple pass-through entities to provide grant funds via subawards to community-based nonprofit organizations and other eligible subrecipient groups representing underserved and disadvantaged communities. Click here for more information.
