WHAT DOES IT FUND? Funding will support port authorities; facility operators; and state, local, and territory agencies for activities associated with implementing area maritime security plans (AMSP), facility security plans (FSPs), vessel security plans (VSPs), and other portwide risk management efforts. WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program protects the critical surface transportation infrastructure and the traveling public from acts of terrorism and to increase transportation infrastructure resilience. In assessing the national risk profile for FY 2023, the funding agency has identified enhancing cybersecurity and enhancing the protection of soft targets/crowded places as areas of highest concern.
