City of Silverton – Engineering Technician I/II

Salary: Engineering Technician I - $ 22.47-$28.69/hour; Engineering Technician II - $24.78-$31.63/hour
Location: Silverton, OR

We are a customer service oriented local government!

We are seeking an Engineering Technician to take responsibility for review and inspection of a variety of projects. Familiarity with or experience in the construction industry will serve you well here, as well as an interest in further developing skills in AutoCAD and GIS. In this role, you will manage assigned projects from start-to-finish, including design review and inspection of for effectiveness, and presenting recommendations to managers and clients. You will be expected to ensure that projects are completed on-time and you will travel to client facilities to oversee implementation.

This recruitment, 20-08, is intended to fill one open fulltime position. Qualified applicants should indicate which position they wish to be considered for, though the City of Silverton reserves the right to make an offer for either the I or II level depending on individual applicant qualifications, transferable skills, experience, and organizational needs.
