The 2019 Legislative Session brought forth new and specific requirements for all employers in Oregon to abide by regarding workplace harassment. Mandatory policies were introduced for employers to implement. In addition, sensitivities to harassment and discrimination in the workplace have increased and many known names have become associated with workplace harassment. During this session, Monica Harrison, SDAO’s HR Manager, will review harassment and discrimination in the workplace under today’s microscope to assist you with navigating these issues and concerns at your district.
