Special Districts Association of Oregon (SDAO) and the Oregon School Boards Association (OSBA) formed Property and Casualty Coverage for Education (PACE) in 2006 to serve the unique needs of Oregon's public school districts, community colleges and education service districts. SDAO provides administrative support for PACE.
By merging their school district insurance programs, SDAO and OSBA formed the largest property and liability risk pool of school entities in Oregon. Read more...

Arson Prevention Program
SDAO and PACE in cooperation with the Oregon Office of the State Fire Marshal updated our successful school arson prevention program. This program is designed to help fire districts teach their local school district administration staff the Oregon rules relating to fires set on school property. The program consists of a three and a half minute video, brochure, sprinkler system checklist, and reward and reporting law posters. Select a link below to view the arson video.
