General Manager

Sunset Empire Park & Recreation District in Seaside, Oregon is currently recruiting qualified applicants to fill the General Manager position. This position reports directly to an elected five-member Board of Directors.

Sunset Empire Park & Recreation District is located along the beautiful Oregon coast just south of Astoria, Oregon.   This highly progressive District serves approximately 10,000 residents with a budget of approximately $2 million.  The District has 5 full time, 60 part time employees and volunteers who provide a wide variety of recreational services to the district residents and visitors.

Energy Specialist I

Provide outstanding customer service to PUD customers by participating in the design, implementation, and delivery of the PUD's various residential energy efficiency, demand management, and renewable energy programs. Required: Associate's degree in Energy Management or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or other energy related field; or knowledge normally acquired through a four year degree in energy, engineering, or other related field; or six years of combined relevant education and experience in customer service, marketing, sales, and energy related positions.

Concrete Vaults

Concrete vaults with lids. Used. $5.00 each. Exact quantity available will not be known until district project is complete. Estimated completion date is February 15, 2012.
Dimensions at top rim of vault. 22.75" long by 15.75" wide. Vault is 12" high. Can be used for water meters, pressure regulating valves, backflow prevention devices and more.
